I am SO happy with the results of my new EP titled "Catch The Moon." I named it "Catch The Moon" because it's my favorite song I've written by myself so far, and I really just love that title! It was awesome doing the artwork (the moon, stars, etc) on the CD case too :)

After looking through my song catalogue, my manager Scott Whitehead and family members helped me choose the 7 best songs for the EP. "Sometimes" was chosen because of its simplicity. All it needed was cello, guitar and some harmony (by Scott and Sarah Majors) to make it sound amazing!

"Like I Do" is a story of a girl falling in love with her best friend, but unfortunately he has his eye on a different girl :(

The thing I like about "Catch The Moon" is its melody. It's so "me" - haha. You can't really compare it to anything else.

I feel like I can relate to "Heart of Steel" because of relationships I've had with other people. It was a must-record song.

"Rainy Day Girl" is one of my all-time favorites! It is about a girl who is sick of being this guys' last call. She's too good for that!

I don't really know where "Too Close For Comfort" came from. I was just feeling angry one day and this came out of it - haha.

"My Heart Needs A Home" is another favorite of mine. It was written in about an hour! I really love the recording of it, and was the perfect way to end the EP!

It took a month and a half and 3 different studios to produce the songs. The recordings were done at Sonic Eden (John Albani engineer), The Roost (Matt McClure engineer), and Hoffner Haus Studio (David Hoffner engineer). It makes everything so much easier working with talented studio people! A special thank you goes out to all of them, and Scott Whitehead for being the main producer of this EP. I really appreciate everything they did and know how much work and effort they put into this project. Thank you fans for listening to the music, and I hope you love it as much as I do!
